I've finally decided to join the crowd. So here's my little blog. la-de-da. Here I will dump scattered thoughts, disconnected ramblings, and other annoying verbal excursions that found no fitting place in that other world called reality. You also find thoughts here related to courses I am currently teaching, or am planning to teach. So, welcome students, and/or future students. Feel free to use this as a supplement to the course and to Blackboard. Any others are welcome to join in on any of these conversations. I'm currently contemplating what will be my first substantive post. I'm strangely filled with anxiety about that. Though I know it isn't true, it seems like my first real post will determine the direction of the blog. Funny me. This isn't no dissertation, after all!
Any ideas?

I would like to suggest to you a topic for your first substantive blog. In Michael E. Zimmerman's book "Eclipse of the Self" he writes about the Kierkegaard/Heidegger/Bultmann/connection. Professor Zimmerman's book on Heidegger is the best book on this philosopher's thought that I have ever come across. In my humble opinion, Professor Zimmerman's book reaffirms a major truth of Christianity. I was wondering if you would read his book and see if there is any thing in it that might serve the purpose of determining the direction of your blog. This is Professor Zimmerman's homepage address

Kyle,
I came across Don Francisco's great website today. He has always been one of my favorite religious singers. I thought you might want to check it out. He has re-recorded all of his music on MP3 and he offers them for free listening and downloads. Here are four of his songs that I highly recommend > He's Alive, To Small a Price, Adam Where Are You, Gotta Tell Somebody. I hope you get a chance to listen.
